Our Road

The road we have traveled has had its ups and its downs,
We married young,
Had children of our own,
Endured long separations,
 
Yet we have remained strong and steadfast,
We have felt the bond between us strengthen,
We have seen the joy of our children grow,
We have felt the elation at being reunited,

Together we have traversed our hardships,
Together we have shared our accomplishments,
Together we will continue to flourish,
Together…
Until death do us part and even then maybe after,
“I love you.”
